The Financial Planning Team is responsible for supporting the Financial Advisers by completing all mid appointment activity and writing Suitability Reports.
This is a great way to start a career in Financial Advice and can lead onto further roles in this industry such as Financial Adviser, Leader, Trainer and Technical expert.
The Financial Planning Team can also provide an excellent grounding with a route to gaining an Industry leading Financial Planning Diploma Qualification.

You will be joining the Financial Planning team, consisting of 54 colleagues with a variety of skills and experience. Working with Financial Advisers and ensuring the best customer outcome is at the forefront of everything we do. We work closely with several teams across the Financial Advice function.

We have a number of Para-Planner roles available on both a permanent and 12-month fixed term contract basis. Roles are paying up to £34,586 per annum dependent on experience.
What Will You Be Doing?
The Financial Planning Team support Financial Advisers with complex areas of Financial Advice. The goal is to formulate suitable advice, complete the mid appointment activity on system and create a Suitability Report which will be presented to the customer by the Financial Adviser.
The skills that will be acquired involve being able to analyse and interpret the investment research provided on our customers’ investments, interpret tax calculations and ultimately assisting our customers in achieving their financial goals. At any one time you’ll be coordinating multiple cases for advisers which will involve areas of complexity which require excellent analytical skills.

You don’t need to have experience within financial services at the entry level of our progression scheme although experience is desirable, however, the ideal candidate will either have obtained or be working towards their Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning*.
These roles are open to candidates with all levels of experience as our progression Scheme is flexible and caters for fully qualified individuals as well as entry level candidates who possess a robust skills matrix to ensure we can develop their skills and progress their career within Financial Advice.
