As we expand, we’re looking for a talented Senior SEO Executive to join our team and play a key role in driving impactful SEO strategies for our clients. The Senior SEO Executive will be responsible for devising and implementing effective SEO strategies that drive traffic, improve search rankings, and increase conversions for our ecommerce clients. You’ll take a hands-on approach across all aspects of SEO, with a particular focus on technical SEO and link-building. We're looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering results, a passion for search, and a creative mindset to help our clients stand out in competitive markets. Key responsibilities Technical SEO Conduct in-depth technical audits to identify issues affecting site performance and recommend actionable improvements. Optimise site architecture, crawlability, and indexation for search engine efficiency. Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tag optimisation, content structure, and internal linking. Stay up-to-date with algorithm changes and ensure client sites comply with the latest search engine guidelines. Link Building Develop and execute innovative link-building strategies tailored to each client’s industry and goals. Build relationships with publishers, bloggers, and influencers to secure high-quality backlinks. Monitor and analyse backlink profiles to ensure they meet quality standards and deliver value. Strategy and Analytics Collaborate with the wider team to align SEO strategies with broader marketing goals. Perform competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities. Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and actionable recommendations. Research and identify new SEO trends and opportunities to keep clients ahead of the curve. Team and Client Collaboration Work closely with designers, developers, and content teams to ensure SEO is embedded across all projects. Communicate effectively with clients, presenting strategies and reporting on progress. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the agency’s knowledge-sharing culture. Skills and Experience Essential Proven track record of driving SEO success in ecommerce or related industries. Strong hands-on experience in technical SEO, including auditing, troubleshooting, and implementation. Creative and results-oriented approach to link building and outreach. Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console. Advanced understanding of keyword research, content optimisation, and user intent. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to clients and team members. Desirable Familiarity with Shopify, Woocommerce, Magento and other ecommerce platforms. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it relates to SEO.
