Thorn Baker is working in collaboration with an established Facilities Management SME within the Lancashire area, to resource a qualified Soft Services Location Manager in the Burnley area.

A background in Soft Services management, specifically in cleaning and security, is essential, along with experience in a fast-paced retail environment. The ability to balance administration with effective leadership, coaching, and management skills will provide the right candidate with an ideal foundation for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the effective running of security and cleaning operations.
* Deliver soft services within the agreed budget constraints for materials, uniforms, and consumables.
* Plan staffing levels and duty rotas to meet the needs of the location and client expectations, utilizing Anchor’s time and attendance systems to manage holidays, sickness, and absence.
* Liaise with HR and senior management to manage site-level issues including investigations, disciplinary actions, and recruitment.
* Ensure all staff are trained to meet client specifications and business requirements.
* Liaise with Anchor and the Centre Management team daily and attend management meetings weekly, contributing to the monthly KPI meeting.
* Attend KPI meetings, ensuring both divisions meet current SLA’s.
* Ensure all employee and service-related documentation is current and propose updates for compliance with Centre and business requirements.
* Regularly audit Centre standards and procedures and submit findings to Anchor senior management for review.
* Conduct regular audits and ensure all mandatory documentation is up to date and ready for auditing.
* Provide documented audits of the site weekly to identify improvements and document statutory checks.
