Salary: Marie Curie Pay Scale, aligned with AFC Band 6 – £35,392 - £42,618 per annum (pro rata)
Hours/Contract: Permanent – Part Time – 30 hours per week (week days)
Based: Newcastle Hospice

As a post holder you will need to provide a flexible counselling service to children and young people facing grief and loss and provide support and advice to patients and carers in order that they feel able to support children and young people in their family. You will be working alongside the Bereavement Coordinator to Co-ordinate the Hospice’s Bereavement Service.

What we are looking for :
19. Degree/ Diploma in Child Counselling
20. Member of BACP.
21. Significant post-qualification
22. Experience in counselling or equivalent
23. Palliative care would be advantageous.
24. Excellent organisational skills
