Help them support young adults (19-25) to live independently and achieve their dreams.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Empower young adults with autism, epilepsy, and learning disabilities, helping them smash their independence goals.
2. Provide person-centred care, whether it's assisting with daily activities like personal care, medication, or just preparing meals.
3. Encourage them to get involved in social, educational, and fun activities to boost their skills and confidence.
4. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team-from healthcare pros to educators and families-to give these young adults the best possible care.
5. Keep track of support plans, medication, and progress to ensure each person's journey is on the right path.
What They're Looking For:
6. Caring, compassionate, and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young adults with complex needs.
7. Awesome communication skills-you'll need to be great at building relationships with the young adults, their families, and your team.
8. Patient, positive, and ready to take on challenges with resilience and a smile.
9. Committed to helping young adults achieve independence and live their lives to the fullest.
No Experience? No Problem!
While experience in a similar role is a plus, it's not essential-this school and college will provide all the training you need! All you need is a genuine passion for supporting young adults with autism, epilepsy and learning disabilities.
