Job Title: Customer Demand Planner
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Duration: 10-12 months Fixed-Term Contract
Salary circa £39,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25-day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!

Position Summary
We have a great opportunity for an individual to join the Nestlé Purina Supply Chain team as a Customer Demand Planner.

A day in the life of a Customer Demand Planner
The purpose of the role is to create an accurate and timely forecast for all products across a set of customers.
With knowledge and a clear understanding of supply chain, you will be able to accurately formulate weekly & monthly demand plans with the Sales teams and manage these in conjunction with the category demand planning and product supply team.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Production and ownership of a timely and accurate 12 month plus customer demand plan across a range of SKUs and customers
2. Identification, quantification and incorporation of all factors and information relevant to the determination of an accurate forecast
3. Development of relationships and collaborative planning processes with sales teams and external customers to support the forecasting process
4. Successfully engaging cross-functional input to ensure high levels of planning accuracy, business delivery, and customer service
5. Playing a pivotal role within the monthly business process through planning ‘roadshows’ in conjunction with the sales team and ensuring weekly and monthly alignment of forecasts and highlighting gaps to target
What will make you successful
As the successful candidate, you will be of graduate calibre and have experience working in Supply Chain as a Demand Planner ideally within the FMCG sector or experience working in another Supply Chain role with an understanding of the end-to-end process.
Other competencies required are:
1. Analytical skills
2. Excellent Excel skills and it would be advantageous to have experience working with and analyzing using Power BI.
3. IT Literate with strong learning agility to adopt new tools and processes
4. Continuous Improvement mindset
