About the role: We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a Networks Reporting Analyst to join our team based in Exeter. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on skills and experience plus a range of excellent company benefits + rewards. As the Networks Reporting Analyst you will provide regional support for the improvement and maintenance of company regulatory information to support and enhance Low Pressure, Supply Interruption and Mains Repair reporting and associated Guaranteed Standards Scheme (GSS) payment management. One of the core purposes of this role is to help manage the significant challenges over the next investment period which require step-changes in performance across the business. With a robust and co-ordinated approach, you will help keep on track and maintain Outcome Delivery Incentives (ODI) levels and mitigate potential financial and reputational impacts.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Conduct post-event supply interruption reviews, detailing cause, impact and action taken to resolve.
2. Turn data from company software and systems into information and actionable insights.
3. Carry out basic network modelling and hydraulic analysis using Infoworks WS Pro to support post-event analysis. Training will be provided.
4. Provide recommendations for better network management and event mitigation.
5. Support incident management by providing network information on an ‘as required’ basis.
6. Use pressure, customer and other network related data to review the Low Pressure Register and provide recommendations for the removal or addition of properties.
7. Review feedback from NSA teams regarding contact from customers experiencing low pressure, ensuring investigations have been completed and outcome / results documented with full auditable trail.
8. Use company software to analyse pressure data, identify pressure loggers requiring maintenance or replacement and promote remedial work.
9. Identify and report Guaranteed Standards Scheme (GSS) payments for customers on the Low Pressure Register and customers impacted by supply interruptions.
10. Record planned network interruptions in the Supply Interruption Database (SID) and inform customers within set timescales.
11. Support accurate reporting of water network activities (mains repairs) using company software.
What we are looking for:
12. 5 GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent including Maths and English
13. Microsoft suite with strong Excel & Word skills appropriate to this role
14. Proven track record of working to deadlines and a background in technical problem solving.
15. Understanding the importance of good customer service and the impact of actions on the company.
16. Effective organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to use initiative and prioritise multiple initiatives simultaneously
17. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as being able to communicate quantitative information in a clear manner
18. Excellent report writing skills and able to present information concisely
19. Establishes rapport easily and builds effective working relationships
20. Committed to attaining and surpassing the expectations of stakeholders by consistently contributing to the delivery of business results
21. Acts positively when circumstances change and is constructive and proactive in challenging the usual methods to help bring about change or improvements
