Health Safety Quality Manager
Up to 40,000 per annum (depending on skills and abilities)
Permanent role in Wrexham
Working hours: M-F 9am -5pm
The role:
Health Safety Quality Manager required for a reputable manufacturing company who will be responsible for the BRC and FSC accreditation as well as aspects of Health and Safety.
Main Duties of the Health Safety Quality Manager:
* Carrying out internal BRC and FSC Audits.
* Creating and reviewing risk assessments (COSH and DSEAR assessments).
* Investigating all accidents and near misses reporting (RIDDOR).
* Working with senior management, keeping them up to date with current legislation ensuring site wide HSE compliance.
* Assisting the shop floor to perform more efficiently, promoting environmental improvements.
* Identify employee training needs and developing and delivering training as required.
* Preparing permits to work for contractors.
* Ensure contractors work to site standards.
Candidate:
The successfully appointed Health Safety Quality Manager will have:
* Hold NEBOSH or equivalent or be time served with the willingness to complete the NEBOSH (paid for by the company).
* Working knowledge of BRC and FSC.
* Manufacturing background.
