In this position you are reporting directly to the Director of Engineering and will spend a high majority of your time, "hands-on" in the development and implementation of programs used on CNC machine tools, including many wide and varied manufacturing processes.
You will have the freedom to be able to use your knowledge and experience of engineering and manufacturing to help introduce and integrate new products smoothly into manufacture.

As the CNC Programmer you key duties will be:
* Using various CAM packages including SmartCAM and GibbsCAM you will be responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining programs for use on various manufacturing processes.
* You are "actively involved" on the factory floor ensuring programs are suitable to complete manufacturing operations.
* Using ProEngineer, the role you will be interrogating models to produce programs
for complex machined profiles on milling, turning and turn/mill machines.
* Managing and looking at the development of programs and methodologies for various
manufacturing processes using the specific and bespoke software.
