We are looking for an SEN Primary Teacher to join our new Options Autism School - Claystone School in Luton, Bedfordshire. The school will have capacity for 48 pupils ages 4-11 years old and is due to open January 2025. Our New Options School will cater for pupils who have ASC and Complex Needs. Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience (not pro rata) Monday to Friday Term Time only Permanent Start Date: January 2025 About the role As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupil’s achievement and ability to develop. This is a great opportunity for a SEN Primary Teacher who is keen to develop creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. The successful candidate must be familiar with and happy to adopt a therapeutic approach to teaching and working with SEN/SEMH/Autistic pupils. Educated to degree level and Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.
