The Company:
A precision engineering business established for over three decades are recruiting for their next CNC Machinist to join a long-tenured team. Operating primarily within the aerospace sector, their capabilities range from up to 66m diameter (turning auto) up to 370mm diameter (turning chuck) and 1100mm x 400mm x 600m for milling.

They’re offering £17-£20 per hour (negotiable dependant on experience) + standard benefits with hours of 6:00-14:00 5 days per week or 14:00-23:30 4 days per week.
What will you be doing:
1. Set and program CNC machinery on Haas machinery.
2. Analyse technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions to establish machining operations and sequences.
3. Perform quality inspections using precise measuring tools to ensure machined components comply with specifications.
4. Oversee machine operations, make necessary adjustments, and conduct routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
5. Follow safety guidelines and keep the work area clean and orderly.
What are we looking for:
6. Experience in setting, operating, and programming CNC machines.
7. Experience in using Fanuc and/or Mazak controls.
8. Capable of interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications.
9. Skilled in using various measuring instruments.
