We are looking for a Retail Warehouse and Logistics Assistant to work for the Royal Shakespeare Company. This is an exciting, varied role where you will assist the Deputy Head of Retail and team in the operations of the RSC's Retail Warehouse based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Retail key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):
Picking deliveries from the Warehouse for delivery to the RSC Shop.
Taking receipt of deliveries into the Warehouse, checking quantities, and dealing with any variations to orders, and confirming receipt of orders on the E.P.O.S. system
Processing and dispatch of mail order and online sales, whilst delivering the highest level of customer service
Ensuring that stock is correctly, securely, and safely stored
Dealing with customer queries and orders via telephone and email
Assisting in regular stocktaking
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:
Experience of working with an E.P.O.S. system
Experience of working with Microsoft Office
Experience of working in warehousing and logistics
Clean driving licence
Be able to work using your own initiative and be numerate
Commitment to providing the highest level of customer service
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months, based in Stratford upon Avon.
You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, although occasional weekend and evening work will be required.
