Salary range £26,000 to £30,000 based on full time hours of 37.5. Part time hours will be pro rata salary.
We are looking for fully qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapists to join us on a part time basis and are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join our EAP Clinical Team.
You will be:
1. As the main part of the role, you will be carrying out Initial Clinical Assessments/Triage of client needs, leading to appropriate clinical pathways, delivering a range of support in our Pathway, which involves Booked Assessment Appointments, In The Moment Support or Booked Single Sessions via telephone and/or video calls.
2. Carrying out Risk Assessments and follow the Safeguarding and Risk Protocol process.
3. Alongside the above, managing a caseload of clients requiring Structured Counselling, which will depend on your contractual hours, as well as the needs of the service.
4. Writing brief, accurate and concise clinical notes, of all interactions.
5. Be integrated into our Support Line Team.
Requirements
6. Able to work a minimum of 3x full days per week (at least 1 day based in-office, Glasgow. One day a week is mandatory.) (We will consider, e.g 3 x full days per week = 1 day in-office, 1 day Remote, 1 weekend shift)
7. Part time is pro rata salary.
8. Be able to cover at least 1 weekend (7.5 hours) and 1 overnight sleeping shift, per month.
9. Be an experienced practitioner with a minimum of 300+ clinical hours.
10. Be qualified as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist (L4 and above in Counselling) with BACP (or similar) registered status
11. Be IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
12. Have a strong clinical background, with excellent Assessment skills.
13. Able to make sound Clinical decisions, whilst holding Boundaries.
14. Be a keen team-player with excellent time management, clinical, communication and organisation skills.
15. Keep in mind the needs of clients and the service whilst working under pressure
Desirable
16. Have previous EAP/telephone Counselling or time limited assessment experience, ideally in a corporate environment
