What are we looking for?
The Implementation Services Manager at Kaptio is central to ensuring the successful deployment of the Kaptio platform, focusing on leading a team of Implementation and Technical roles. This role is critical in ensuring that implementations align perfectly with customer needs and Kaptio’s operational standards, fostering a high-performance culture among the team.
Responsibilities & Duties
Team Leadership and Development:
* Direct and support a team of Implementation Consultants, Implementation Specialists, Business Analysts and/or Technical Analysts prioritizing personal growth and professional excellence.
* Cultivate a culture of high performance and innovation, ensuring the team is motivated and equipped to handle complex implementation challenges.
* Guide team efforts towards strategic and customized implementations of the Kaptio platform, ensuring customer-specific requirements are met with high standards.
Customer and Implementation Focus:
* Manage key customer projects from conception through to completion, ensuring the Kaptio platform is implemented effectively to meet bespoke business needs.
* Serve as the primary escalation point for significant customer issues during the implementation phase, ensuring resolutions that enhance customer satisfaction and product functionality.
* Develop strong customer relationships through effective communication and strategic advisory, ensuring clients are engaged and well-informed throughout the implementation process.
Process Optimization, Cross-team Collaboration and Implementation Excellence:
* Drive the adoption of best practices in implementation processes, constantly seeking to innovate and improve the deployment of Kaptio solutions.
* Support the team in leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of implementations.
* Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure alignment between what’s sold and what exists to prevent overselling.
* Collaborate with the product team to create a coherent plan, aligning timelines, features and implementation efforts to ensure the project is both achievable and strategically sound.
Development and Training:
* Assess and address the continuous learning needs of the team, ensuring high competency in Kaptio product implementation and client service.
* Facilitate opportunities for professional development and certifications, aligning with the latest industry standards and technology advancements.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated leadership in technology implementation, with significant experience managing teams in a client-facing environment.
* In-depth knowledge of SaaS product implementation, with a preference for expertise in the travel technology sector.
* Excellent organizational and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and lead teams to success.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on delivering client-centric solutions.
* Superior communication skills, adept at managing client expectations and internal collaborations.
* Background in travel technology implementations is a plus and a deep understanding of the specific challenges and opportunities in this sector.
