Teaching Personnel are working with an Independent school in Newport to find a Business/IT Teacher. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality instruction in Business Studies, fostering critical and analytical thinking.
* Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.
* Cover ICT classes as required, ensuring continuity and coherence in the curriculum.
* Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to departmental planning.
* Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and development.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong knowledge of the Business Studies and ICT curricula.
* Proven experience in a similar teaching role is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to the school's ethos, values, and vision for education.
* Enhanced DBS
* EWC Registration.
* Able to provide 2 most recent school references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
