This role will include supporting students across the year groups with various special educational needs such as ASD, ADHD and SEMH therefore experience working within a school setting is essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, understanding, and passionate about supporting young people. Working hours are between 8.30 to 3.30 and the daily rate of pay is £93.48. Responsibilities include: - Effectively handling challenging behaviour and meltdowns using de-escalation techniques - Differentiating the curriculum to suit the specific needs and abilities of the students - Collaborating with the teachers and wider school staff to work towards the student’s Education Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) - Ensuring a positive and safe learning environment that focuses on the wellbeing of the students Requirements for this role include experience working with children or adults with SEND, caring and empathetic individuals, strong communication and written English skills and an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
