Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a high-profile factory redevelopment project in Swindon. The role involves managing a range of construction activities, including dismantling and demolition, groundworks, installing a floating steel floor, concrete infill, and overseeing the installation of Stelcon tiles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring the project runs smoothly and on schedule.
* Supervising subcontractors (up to three on-site at a time) and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
* Coordinating tasks related to both groundworks and internal fit-out.
* Communicating progress updates to stakeholders and maintaining site records.
* Ensuring compliance with strict operational and environmental standards.
Candidate Requirements:
* CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction, with a background in construction, groundworks and internal fit-out.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
* A professional approach to health and safety compliance.
* Local to Swindon or surrounding areas to align with carbon monitoring policies.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
