A new upcoming security company is looking for a temporary purchase ledger clerk to join their team.
Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full purchase ledger process from purchase orders through to invoices and reconciliation.
Main responsibilities
1. Matching, checking, coding invoices.
2. Processing invoices.
3. Working out VAT payments.
4. Preparing Supplier Payment List for approval.
5. Processing staff expenses and mileage claims.
6. Setting up new supplier accounts.
7. Reconciliation of supplier statements.
8. Any other duties which may reasonably be required.
What you'll need to succeed
1. AAT part qualified preferable.
2. At least 2 years' experience of bookkeeping.
3. Understanding of business accounting.
4. Proven experience of accounting systems, Sage is preferred.
5. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
What you'll get in return
A salary of £13 - £15 per hour.
