This setting is an award winning Nursery chain that is set in 98 acres of beautiful Essex Woodlands that is just only 1 miles away from Brentwood main town centre. This setting is looking for Nursery Practitioner to join their fun nursery in CM13! They are looking for a Level 2 or 3 to come and join them in the baby room! We do offer a 4 day working week, 8am-6pm, 38 hours per week.
Your role will include being a key worker for a small group of children, providing high-quality education and learning whilst ensuring the welfare and safety of children within the setting.
Responsibilties:
1. Be responsible as a Key Worker for a number of children.
2. Gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures.
3. Plan with other room staff and deliver a range of activities for the children.
4. Attend advertising events on a rota basis.
5. To uphold and ensure a high standard of care throughout the nursery.
6. To implement and maintain the company's Equality policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory.
7. Ensure that your key children settle in and complete progress checks.
8. Complete all sharing information forms for your key children.
9. To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures.
10. Notify the Room Leader of any complaints received or situations that may be detrimental to the company, agree on actions to resolve issues and implement accordingly.
11. Create strong parent relationships, including attending parents' evenings.
12. Complete any designated responsibilities for SENCO, ENCO and H&S Officer roles assigned to you.
Requirements:
13. Level 2/3 childcare qualifcation or higher
14. 6 months+ expeirence needed in Childcare as training is provided
15. Commitment
16. Passion to deliver outstanding childcare
17. Ability to work within a team and on your own using your own initiative
18. Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
