The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to join our leadership team at a pivotal stage in our growth. In this role, you’ll ensure the smooth daily operations of our practice, and foster a positive, motivated culture. You’ll work closely with the Directors, and oversee practice management, client care, and team well-being, with a chance to make a tangible impact on our continued success. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the office team to deliver exceptional client service and ensure efficient practice operations. Collaboration: Work with the Directors and veterinary team to support clinical and operational goals through effective communication and teamwork. Problem-Solving & Accountability: Identify barriers to efficiency, develop solutions, implement processes, and hold the team accountable for success. HR Management: Oversee all aspects of HR across the practice, including recruitment, contracts, policy development, Health & Safety compliance, and performance management. Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards Operational Improvements: Continuously assess and refine office processes to enhance client service and practice efficiency. What We’re Looking For Management Experience: Several years in a practice management role, ideally within an equine veterinary practice or similar veterinary environment. Leadership & Communication: A confident, proactive leader who can motivate and develop the office team while collaborating effectively with others. Problem Solver: A hands-on, solutions-focused approach to challenges, with the ability to implement and maintain successful changes. Financial Acumen: Solid knowledge of business finances, familiarity with P&L and KPIs. HR Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices.
