Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science Teacher to support a Cirencester based secondary school starting January 2025. This temporary position, covering at least one term, will involve teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students. The role includes full teaching responsibilities such as lesson planning, marking, and providing support to students.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
Develop lesson plans tailored to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
Provide targeted support and interventions to help students achieve their potential.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental and school-wide activities.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
