Job Purpose
Provides accurate technical and drawn information to on-site construction teams across 3 or 4 standard housing projects, making sure they have the right information when they need it.
Key Accountabilities
* Accountable for ensuring all activities within your role follow our hierarchy, with ‘Keeping our people safe’ our first priority. Ensure all activities are properly planned and carried out in line with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures. Any non-compliance, including allowing anyone to take risks that could affect their health and safety, may be investigated in line with our disciplinary policy.
* Manages the flow of information including drawings, design plans and technical approvals, across 3 or 4 standard housing projects so the site team and others have all the documentation they need for the build, when they need it
* Provides solutions to design issues ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, technical requirements and in accordance with the change control process
* Advises the Construction team on quality control and technical issues
* With minimal guidance, manages section agreements to the point of technical approval and legal agreement, then advises the construction and commercial teams on requirements to ensure timely adoptions
* With minimal guidance, ensures the proper legal setup of projects so that the necessary legal easements and permissions are in place, conveyancing plans are coordinated, ongoing management structures are in place, sample transfers are agreed and purchasers have accurate information.
* Adheres to the change control process to ensure compliance with company standards and provides feedback on the standard house type range
* With minimal guidance, vets all designs to ensure efficiency, buildability & quality
* Proposes and implements innovative solutions to improve efficiency, quality, safety and customer satisfaction
* Develops and maintains effective relationships with key Homes stakeholders
* Manages multi-disciplined external project teams and works collaboratively with internal project team members, regional development teams, internal and external project team members and Homes staff across all disciplines
* Provides support and guidance to Technical Coordinators and Technical Assistants ensuring critical on-the-job learning

* Maintains knowledge and adhere to relevant Group Policies and Procedures, Legislation and Regulations
* Develops and ensures safe and responsible working practices
Experience Skills and Knowledge Required
* Relevant degree or similar level technical qualification e.g. Architectural Technologist
* Experience in Technical Construction
* Strong Planning, organising and prioritising skills
* Strong negotiator
* Strong technical and management skills
* Full UK driving licence
