Global Internship Program:
Exciting Opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2025 Global Internship Program as a Genetic Toxicology intern at our Harrogate site.
As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Business and Sales - and are Inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. In addition to department work, we support your professional development and career exploration through program workshops, leadership speakers, employee resource group introductions, new hire panel discussions and small group “coffee chats”.

About the Team:
The Genetic Toxicology team perform various assays to establish the genotoxic potential of chemicals and compounds
Internship Assignment Summary:
1. Assist in the preparation and performance of standard assays working in the laboratory
2. Assist in the accurate recording and data checking of study and laboratory raw data
3. Daily contact with Laboratory Supervisor/Manager and personnel, Study Directors and GT Associate Director.
4. Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your business acumen and professional presence
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
5. Working towards bachelor’s degree in a biology based BSc, e.g. Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Science, Medical Sciences
6. Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
7. Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
8. Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
