SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sleaford
Salary: £85 - £96 Per day
Contract type: Temporary Contractual Job

GSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Sleaford.
Job Summary
* Providing direct support to students with special needs, helping them with academic tasks, and ensuring they understand the material.
* Assisting the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
* Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest strategies, techniques, and legal requirements related to special education.
Responsibilities:
* As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one support and assistance to students with special educational needs.
* Assisting students with their learning activities, both in the classroom and in one-on-one sessions.
* Providing emotional support and encouragement to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
* Collaborating with teachers and Special Educational Needs Coordinator to implement individualized education plans and support strategies.
* Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
The successful candidate will:
* Passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional needs of children with autism.
