Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work within a mainstream primary school in year 1 classroom for a school in Denton. The school aims to offer a step-by-step approach in meeting the needs of their pupils. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school from December.
The successful applicant will:
* Be working 1:1 with a child with SEMH.
* Implementing tailored interventions and strategies to support their social, emotional, and mental well-being, in collaboration with the SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and teaching staff.
* Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as required.
* Working closely with teaching staff, external agencies, and parents/carers to ensure holistic support and continuity of care for students with SEMH needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
