Working Hours:
BMS Quality Assurance Manager will maintain compliance with the existing quality approvals and obtain new quality approvals as required. This role requires fully understanding the aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements and having a sense of responsibility to ensure compliance and continual improvement.
Main duties and responsibilities of a BMS Quality Assurance Manager:
. Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
. Maintain and obtain necessary certificates and approvals (ISO 9001, AS 9100, EASA parts 21G, 21O, 21J, and 145).
. Ensure the effectiveness of the auditing system, maintain annual audit schedules and programs, and supervise the quality assurance audit team.
. Support customer and aircraft manufacturer audits and manage the OASIS database.
. As a BMS Quality Assurance Manager, you need to plan and prepare annual management reviews, report on KPIs and BMS metrics, and escalate quality issues to the Accountable Manager.
. Coordinate the closure of audit findings and non-conformities.
. Define and lead the implementation of the BMS Quality Assurance Strategy, contribute to business initiatives and projects, and support related activities.
. Deliver BMS QA training and quality inductions for new employees.
. Serve as the key contact for certification bodies, regulatory authorities, suppliers, customers, and aircraft manufacturers.
Key Requirements of BMS Quality Assurance Manager:
. Extensive experience with Quality Management Systems in the aerospace industry.
. In-depth understanding of aerospace regulatory standards.
. Proven experience in internal and supplier auditing, audit program management, and holding a valid internal/lead auditor certificate for ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100
. Familiarity with the MOR (Mandatory Occurrence Reporting) process.
. Knowledge of DOA-POA agreements, certifying staff, human factors, and FOD requirements.
. BMS Quality Assurance Manager are required to be proficient in managing audits in the aerospace OASIS database.
. Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data and statistics.
. Understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control).
. Excellent organizational, reporting, procedure writing, process mapping, planning, and project management skills.
. Strong risk and opportunities management abilities.
. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
