Aspire People are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join a secondary school in Smiths Wood on a short-term contract from January 2025 until Summer 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds and contribute to the school's creative arts program.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons to secondary school students.
Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans.
Assess, track, and report on students' progress and achievement.
Foster a love for music and support extracurricular activities such as school concerts and performances.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school's music department development.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A passion for teaching music and a strong subject knowledge.
Experience teaching music at secondary school level.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A creative and dynamic approach to teaching.
A DBS on the update service or the willingness to purchase a new one through Aspire People.
