A specialist equipment hire company for global maritime and industrial sectors is seeking an Project Manager to maintain and improve the company’s field operational performance, productivity, client relationship and team cohesion. The Project Manager will have previous experience in a similar operations management role, have experience delivering results, and ensure the team is looked after. In addition, the Project Manager will have excellent relationship building skills dealing with customers from the UK and abroad, have strong organisational skills and is technically minded.

Key Responsibilities:
Project manage the company’s field operations
Ensure customer service requirements are met in full
Ensure and improve performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of field operations
Manage field staff and look after the team in relation to any field operations including HSE and coordinating annual leave
Manage the customer service
Oversee export control compliance
Oversee equipment selection & preparation
Cover out of hours staff movement or transport via company phone (one week in three rota)
Manage the operations administrator
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
Have previous experience as a Project Manager or similar managerial role
Have excellent people management, customer service, organisation, and project management skills
Is professional, technically minded and have proven leadership ability
Desirables:
Offshore or hire-based experience
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 DOE
