As we prepare to unveil Silverwood Hospital, in Chertsey, Surrey, we're looking for Consultant Psychiatrists to join us by building & leading your own team in our purpose-built facility, designed to provide optimal care for the people who use our services. You will be responsible for providing clinical input & leadership, working alongside a multidisciplinary team in line with New Ways of Working.
The team will support the Consultant by triaging of referrals, completing initial assessments, liaising & collaboratively working with other professionals. The Consultants will also be provided with support from middle grade doctors for these posts.

1. Salary: NHS Consultant Grade £99,532 - £131,964 + £149 fringe, + on-call payments

Qualifications
Essential
10. MB BS or equivalent recognised medical qualification
11. Full medical registration with a license to practice
12. Approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act(or within 6 to 12 months of the time of interview/assessment) or equivalent
Desirable
13. Relevant higher degree, e.g. MD, PhD, MSc or other additional clinical qualifications
14. MRCPsych or equivalent
15. Management qualification or evidence of an interest in developing leadership skills.
Eligibility

16. Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
17. Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months
Desirable
18. In good standing with GMC concerning warnings and conditions on practice
