The Role:
This position offers the chance to lead and expand the firm's Sports Law practice, handling a diverse portfolio of high-profile matters across contentious and non-contentious areas of sports law. Key responsibilities include:
Advising on commercial contracts, sponsorships, and endorsement agreements.
Handling regulatory and compliance issues within the sports sector.
Managing dispute resolution, arbitration, and litigation cases.
Drafting and negotiating employment agreements and player/agent contracts.
Providing guidance on governance and integrity issues in sport.
Assisting with intellectual property, media rights, and branding matters.
The role also involves business development, mentoring junior team members, and nurturing client relationships.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor: A minimum of 4+ years PQE in sports law, with experience in contentious, non-contentious, or both areas.
