Full time 37.5 Hours per week Monday to Sunday, shifts between 07:00 and 19:00
£25,642 per annum + fantastic benefits

We’re looking for a Front of House Porter to join the team at The Wellington Hospital, currently the largest private hospital in the UK. As a Front of House Porter you’ll play a key role in the day to day running of the hospital, delivering an exceptional service to all departments, colleagues, patients and visitors – making their stay with us the best it can be.

What you’ll do:
1. Providing a proactive, friendly and welcoming service to all patients, visitors and third parties.
2. Meet & greet patients on admission. Escort them to their room and show them their room facilities
3. Transportation of patients and equipment around the hospital
4. Providing a security service
5. A part of the cardiac & fire response team
6. Waste duties – Collection of clinical & recycling waste daily
7. Mail duties – franking outgoing mail, distribution of incoming mail and courier post
8. Office moves – moving of furniture and equipment around hospital
9. Out of hours – responsible for changing of medical gas cylinders
What you’ll bring:
10. Previous experience working as a Porter, or another customer service focussed role
11. A clean UK Driver’s License is essential
12. Manual Car Driving is desirable
13. Good communication skills
