We're looking for an Operational Resilience Manager to join our Technology Business Services team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc.
You'll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role within our Resilience Team working with key stakeholders to deliver and shape the Operational Resilience programme for Tesco Bank. Your primary focus will be working closely with accountable owners of our important business services to help embed resilience by design. You'll also be closely working with our senior leadership team, and stakeholders across the business and influencing our future ways of working.
This is a great time to join Tesco Bank as we continue to mature our Operational Resilience programme. With our strategic partnership Barclays UK announced earlier this year this gives us all the opportunity to continue to develop and contribute to our growing success.
You'll be within the Resilience Team reporting to an Operational Resilience Senior Manager. You'll also be working with key stakeholders from across the Bank to help shape how we do things and help make the Bank more resilient.
Due to the size and nature of Tesco Bank the opportunity to broaden skills and experience across a number of different disciplines in the Operational Resilience environment, including policies and the risk framework and controls, which is highly desirable experience within the Financial Services industry.
What you'll be doing
1. Working at pace to drive the delivery of the Operational Resilience compliance programme ensuring alignment to regulatory requirements.
2. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the Bank to support the development of the resilience posture.
3. Leading on specified assurance and oversight activities including drafting reports, board papers and recommended corrective actions for review by senior managers.
4. Resolving queries from internal stakeholders and advising on these by arranging meetings, events and drafting supporting materials.
5. Support our key stakeholders including helping to educate and inform them across the subject of Resilience.
6. Working with colleagues across the Resilience team to support continuous improvements in our policies, frameworks and processes.
We need you to have
1. Operational Resilience regulations - knowledge and practical experience of implementing these within a Financial Services organisation.
2. Experience of practical application of Operational Resilience in the financial services sector.
3. Strong communication skills, having the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders across the Bank.
4. Experience of Operational Resilience frameworks and policy management.

6. Experience of development of delivering learning opportunities in Operational Resilience.
7. Experience of collation and analysis of metrics in an Operational resilience context.
8. Experience of working in an agile working environment.
