Located in a prominent position on Shoreditch High Street, One Hundred Shoreditch has 258 bedrooms, five restaurants and bars including a breakfast restaurant, a destination cocktail bar and a rooftop bar and terrace, offering panoramic views over East London.
As the Loading Bay Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services in and out of our hotel. You will be responsible for managing the loading bay area, coordinating deliveries, and supervising a team of loading bay assistants to maintain a high level of service excellence. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the loading bay area, including scheduling and coordinating deliveries, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
2. Supervise loading bay supervisor, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
3. Receive and inspect deliveries to verify accuracy and quality, and ensure that goods are properly stored and distributed to the appropriate departments.
4. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment, and collaborate with the procurement team to order necessary items in a timely manner.
5. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including tracking documentation, invoices, and receipts.
6. Coordinate with other hotel departments to facilitate the smooth flow of goods and services and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and security protocols to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
8. Assist the Executive Chef and Finance Team in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity in the loading bay area.
