What makes Community Integrated Care a great place to work: MALE Bank Support Worker for our service based in the Stapleford (NG9) area of Nottingham at £11.94 per hour As a Support Worker with Community Integrated Care you will experience an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling role. Our Support Workers empower people with support needs to live the lives they want to lead. We want to hear from caring, enthusiastic and dedicated team players with a can-do approach who, as a Support Worker, will be committed to support people to have a great life through innovative person centred support. We support people with a range of disabilities and care needs including autism, mental health, physical disabilities, diabetes, epilepsy, acquired brain injuries and behaviours that may challenge. Some of the people we support are very active within the community and will require their support workers to have a level of fitness that will be able to support in a person-centred way. Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: Previous experience is not essential as we provide a comprehensive induction and training programme.
Our ideal Support Worker will be:
1. Self-motivated with energy and drive
2. Reliable, friendly and caring to support the people we support to achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)
3. Able to support in house activities and hobbies
4. Confident and inspire the person we support to achieve more
5. Able to help manage some behaviours that may challenge the norm – we provide training and guidance to enable you to do this
6. Comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area
