Your new role
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be required to manage a Ipsum client sites.
Principal Accountabilities
15. Working as Principal Contractor
16. Ability to oversee Electrical and mechanical installations
17. Working with and updating the Project Manager
18. Supervision and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress
19. Liaising with the Project manager, client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
20. Coordinate and supervise construction personnel
21. Carry out checks on plant and equipment for suitability
22. Carry out safety inspections and ensuring site safety
23. Maintaining quality control procedures
24. Preparing site reports and updating the site safety file
25. Carry out site inductions
26. Fault finding and problem solving
27. Assessing and minimising risk

Essential qualifications/ skills/ experience
Qualifications
28. Site Management Safety Training Scheme card
29. First Aid at work (or willing to be trained)
30. CSCS manager’s card
Knowledge & Experience
31. Previous site management experience working in utilities sector.
32. Experience with CDM regulations
33. Experience in civil construction
34. Mechanical and Electrical or Construction industry experience
Skills & Personal Qualities
35. Exceptional communication skills
36. A strong sense of initiative
37. The ability to build excellent working relationships.
