Buildings and Site Manager required for an established educational facility based in Wiltshire. This role offers a great career opportunity for an experienced facilities manager with previous experience within the education service sector or similar. Your key responsibilities will include the overall site services, the allocation, inspection, and monitoring of contracted buildings, and remedial works. Based on full-time hours, working Monday to Friday, this position offers an excellent annual salary up to £29,093 plus a range of highly attractive employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management and direction of external building contractors, ensuring works are carried out on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption.
2. Management of school and premise site security systems, ensuring they remain in excellent working order on a 24/7 operation.
3. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations including Fire and Evacuation, Asbestos and Legionella checks, and Security System Testing.
4. Arrange internal decoration and site repair works, obtaining the best price versus budget allowances, and ensuring high standards of work.
5. Attend regular meetings and provide reports and improvement logs, detailing all works and possible concerns.
6. Undertake physical lifting, stretching, and bending, and light internal maintenance and remedial work to fixtures and fittings.
7. Work in adverse weather conditions, dressing accordingly as indicated by the different seasons.
Minimum Requirements:
Ideally, you will have worked in a similar role or within an Estate Management post, have extensive Health and Safety Site experience, and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
