Are you an organised and proactive administrative professional? We’re recruiting for a Logistics and Procurement Coordinator to join a construction contractor working on the prestigious Sizewell C project.
About the Role
As a Logistics and Procurement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the seamless delivery of this large-scale project. Working with project teams, suppliers, and contractors, you’ll ensure the efficient procurement of materials and services while managing logistics to maintain timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing materials
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
* Oversee logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation and storage of materials
* Monitor and manage stock levels, placing orders as required to avoid delays
* Collaborate with project teams to forecast procurement needs and provide updates on progress
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
* Maintain accurate records of all procurement and logistics activities
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* Proven experience in logistics, procurement or administration (construction experience isn't essential)
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication skills
* A proactive and solutions focused mindset
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
