Astute Recruitment are partnering with a highly recognised and well-established company based in Loughborough to help bring in a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis to join their dynamic team.
This role is ideal for an experienced clerical candidate who has a genuine passion for what they do.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
* Ensure all payments are made on time and in compliance with company policies
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
* Raising customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing
* Monitoring customer accounts to ensure payments are received promptly
* Resolving any invoice queries or disputes
* Ad hoc administrative duties
Requirements:
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work effective both independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary, benefits, and hours:
* Salary up to £24,000 depending on experience
* Hybrid - 2 days from home
* 26 days holidays plus bank holidays with an increase to 31 with service
