On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Production Manager to oversee all aspects of production in their dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will lead a skilled team of engineers, technicians, and fabricators to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a full-time position, working hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.

Production Manager - Responsibilities
* Plan and manage production activities to ensure smooth work flows and timely project completion.
* Lead and nurture the production team to promote collaboration and high performance.
* Efficiently allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to optimise production.
* Ensure that all products meet quality standards through thorough inspection and testing.
* Implement and uphold health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
* Identify and drive initiatives for enhanced efficiency and cost savings.
* Manage production budgets to ensure cost-effective operations without sacrificing quality.
* Collaborate with engineering, design, and project management teams for seamless communication.
* Proactively address and resolve production challenges as they arise.
* Keep accurate records of production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Production Manager - Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing or production, within a managerial capacity.
* Solid understanding of mechanical engineering and fabrication processes.
* Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams effectively.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or welding processes.
* Familiarity with methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
* Proven track record of implementing initiatives that enhance efficiency and productivity.
