Hays Technology are recruiting a Business Analyst to join a Bradford based retailer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will join a Business Change Team and will play a crucial part in managing various system changes and transformations. This position is full time and offers a hybrid working scheme (3 onsite / 2 home). The role offers exposure to a challenging project portfolio of technical and commercial change meaning you'll need to be versatile with agile and waterfall experience as well as being comfortable with Prince2 principles. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, understand, and document detailed business requirements. Analyse and document system and business processes, identifying areas for improvement. Act as a liaison between IT and business teams throughout the change lifecycle. Prepare and maintain project documentation, tracking progress, resource needs, issues, risks, and dependencies. Lead workshops with stakeholders to capture and challenge business requirements and gain support for proposed changes. Develop test plans and coordinate the design and execution of test scenarios and scripts. Coach project team members on project methodology, documentation, and change management tools Contribute to business cases and cost-benefit analyses to ensure changes are effective and benefits are realised. Skills & Experience You'll Need: Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, highly likely to come from a Retail environment Very strong communication and stakeholder management skills Highly analytical with the ability to propose data-driven solutions. Experience in delivering complex projects or programs of work Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies Some previous experience with AWS cloud migration is preferred Previous experience of Project Management using agile and waterfall methodologies The business has experienced a significant, successful turnaround in recent years and is delivering further change in systems implementation, customer satisfaction initiatives and automation.
