Working in the Welby HUB is not your typical primarycare experience! The building is a recently converted church in a villagesetting with the benefits of air-con and excellent local shops. The building ispurely used for practice support services and not for patient contact.
The setup is a deliberately open-planned office toencourage conversations between administrators, clinicians and managers. It's agreat environment to work in, where ideas are welcomed, and staff can developand thrive.
Main duties of the job
As a Health Administrator/ Care Navigator, we rely onyou to provide crucial support to our 4 GP practices.
From the HUB you will be managing incoming requestsfrom patients. Patients submit a wide range of requests electronically throughaskmyGP. With the support of clinicians and managers, you will direct patientsto the most appropriate resource, answer patients' queries and support ourclinicians.
You will also manage incoming correspondence, codinginformation and directing letters to the appropriate clinicians or teams mainlythroughelectroniccommunication, with very little telephone or face-to-face contact.
This is a permanent role of 18 hours per week, 3 daysper week worked Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 08:00-14:00, however, we aresupportive of flexible working and welcome a conversation at the interviewabout flexible working arrangements.

Job responsibilities
To be responsible for processing incoming documents, assigning to the appropriate clinician or filing to patient records and read-coding of relevant information into the patient's electronic healthcare records on SystmOne clinical system, adhering to the practice policy.
Primary Responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the workflow administrator. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
a. Identifying relevant clinical information documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed actions where appropriate
b. Direct or file incoming clinical correspondence according to group policy
c. Input clinical data into the patients healthcare records as necessary
d. Support the development of the Group Workflow Protocol
e. Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested
Secondary Responsibilities
In addition to the primary responsibilities, the workflow administrator may be requested to:
a. Review and update the practice coding policy as required
b. Partake in audit as directed
c. Carry out system searches as requested
d. Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately
