HR Officer
* Position: Full-Time
* Salary: £36,316 - £40,798
* Location: 3 days per week on-site in Maidstone
Your new role:
The role is a front-line position requiring advanced theoretical, practical, and procedural HR knowledge to provide accurate advice and guidance to colleagues and managers across the organisation on day-to-day employment matters. The role involves interpretation and application of employment law and internal policies to resolve complex queries and support decision-making in accordance with HR best practices.
Key Knowledge Required/Responsibilities:
* Advanced theoretical and applied knowledge of employment law, HR policy, and procedural best practices.
* Experience in applying ACAS guidance to varied HR scenarios.
* In-depth understanding of confidentiality and the handling of sensitive data in accordance with GDPR and relevant employment regulations.
* Provide expert and responsive HR guidance, ensuring alignment with employment law, organisational policies, and best practices.
* Responsible for maintaining confidentiality and ensuring data accuracy when recording enquiries/advice given for reporting purposes.
* Independently identify when to escalate matters to relevant HR managers or specialists.
* Support the continuous improvement of HR policies and guidance by providing insights and recommendations to the HR Policy and Guidance Manager.
Key Experience/Qualifications Required:
* Experience in a front-line, client facing HR role, with interaction at all levels within an organisation
* Experience in handling complex HR issues independently and supporting decision-making processes.
* Adaptability – experience in roles requiring agility and responsiveness
* Demonstrated success in managing high-volume HR queries and maintaining service excellence in a fast-paced, team-working environment.
* Part or fully qualified CIPD or a wide experience across all aspects of recruitment or HR administration
