We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager (Facilities Management and Fleet) at Perth Head Office, on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
About this role
As the Contract Manager, you will be required to drive the overall performance of assigned Facilities Maintenance/Facilities Services contracts and for providing subject matter expert contract advice and guidance. This will be achieved through ensuring the application of Western Power’s Contract Lifecycle Management Framework to enable contracts to be delivered to the contractual requirements for safety and environmental compliance, cost, time, quality, delivery and customer satisfaction.
1. Accountable for driving the overall performance of assigned Facilities Management/Fleet Services contracts and for providing subject matter expert contract advice and guidance.
2. To ensure that all contracts are managed in line with Western Power’s Contract Lifecycle Management Framework inclusive of the Procurement Policy and the Contract Management Standard ensuring that the following key activities are undertaken;
3. Develop and maintain a CMP that fully meets the contractual requirements in line with the Contract Management Framework,
4. Review the Contract Management engagement deliverables including the SHE risk register, scope of work, specifications, drawings and pricing schedules,
5. Ensure receipt and approval of the Contractor’s plans in line with the contract,
6. Monitor and manage compliance to the Contractor plans including; Safety Environmental Quality Schedule Pricing Schedule
7. Verify and certify Contractors claims, including; Progress Variations EOT
8. Complete Contractor performance reporting requirements.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
9. Degree or equivalent in Business, Law or Commerce
10. Contract Management Qualification
11. Broad and extensive knowledge and expertise and proven understanding of contract management
12. At least 10 + years significant contract management experience including high value / highly complex contracts
13. Have strong working knowledge of and the ability to interpret legislation with regards to contract law
14. Ability to provide technical leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, complimented by influencing/negotiation skills
15. A desire to implement change and innovation, internally and via contract arrangements
16. Strong experience in negotiation, conflict resolution and managing public and stakeholder relations.
17. The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels within a corporate environment
Desirable attributes include:
18. Contract management experience specifically in Facilities Management/Fleet services contracts
19. Extensive knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance across a broad range of both hard and soft facility services.
