Our client's team is expanding and is looking for an experienced PPM Engineering Shift Technician to join their Ruskington site.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring maximum reliability and performance at their site by carrying out planned preventative maintenance, servicing machinery, equipment, and facilities.
As a market leader, our client is dedicated to staying at the forefront of the manufacturing industry, and their PPM Engineering Shift Technician will play a key role in ensuring preventative and proactive maintenance across various machinery.
They’re part of one of the largest manufacturing groups in the world and as such this role will open up a range of opportunities, progression and knowledge building for the successful PPM Engineering Shift Technician candidates.
Day Shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform planned preventative maintenance on site machinery and equipment.
2. Maintain and service machinery, ensuring efficient performance and minimal downtime.
3. Work closely with a highly skilled and professional engineering team.
4. Support the site’s operational efficiency through equipment reliability and maintenance excellence.
What we’re looking for:
1. City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical and or Electronic engineering OR City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical or Process engineering.
2. Time served Apprentice.
3. Health & Safety in accordance with legislation.
4. Mechanical or Electrical skills.
5. External Communication skills.
6. Minimum 6 months as a Skill 1 Engineer.
Desirable Skills:
1. Computer Literate.
2. In depth knowledge of all equipment used in our factory OR other suitable experience and knowledge of all site services equipment.
3. COSHH.
4. Basic Hygiene.
5. Breathing Apparatus.
