This is your chance to work within a dynamic team in a role offering full-time hours from Monday to Thursday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and Friday (8:30 AM - 2:00 PM). Part-time hours will also be considered for the ideal candidate.
Your Role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will:
1. Maintain the accuracy of the company’s purchase ledger.
2. Match purchase invoices to stock purchase orders.
3. Process purchase invoices and credit notes with correct nominal codes.
4. Resolve invoice queries and liaise with suppliers via phone or email.
5. Reconcile supplier statements with internal records.
6. Investigate discrepancies between cashbooks and bank statements.
7. Set up new supplier accounts and manage supplier forms.
8. Calculate and allocate VAT payments accurately.
9. Prepare GBP, EUR, and USD payment runs weekly and monthly.
10. Manage the accounts email inbox.
11. Provide general office support to the team as needed.
