As anAssistant Psychologist you will develop your skills in buildingrelationships and engaging children and young people in assessmentsand interventions under the direction of a qualified psychologist.You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, supportingeducational and residential colleagues to provide therapeuticliving and learning environments and, based on clinical assessmentand formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagementto our youngpeople.

* Adegree (or equivalent) in Psychology, you’ll be eligible forgraduate BPS membership. Your degree should include componentsrelating to young people and mental health orautism
* You’ll have workedwith young people who have developmental trauma and/orneurodevelopmental needs e.g. autism, SEMH andADHD
* The resilience to beable to deal with challengingsituations
* A ‘can do’attitude – a team player who rolls up their sleeves to helpothers
* We genuinely careabout our young people (and each other) so honesty and empathy is amust
