We are looking for an experienced Team Leader looking for their next career move or a Deputy Home Manager who has an understanding of a care setting to join us as a Deputy Manager at Ridgemount care home.
As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of our care home, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents. Responsibilities:
1. Assist in Overall Management: Collaborate with the Home Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and resident care.
2. Quality Care: Ensure individualized, person-centered care for residents, promoting their well-being and maintaining their dignity.
3. Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to care staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and policies.
4. Team Leadership: Lead by example, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
5. Risk Assessment and Compliance: Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance, including health and safety standards.
6. Resident Advocacy: Advocate for residents’ needs, preferences, and rights.
7. Effective Communication: Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
8. Problem-Solving: Address challenges promptly and proactively.
9. Training and Development: Support staff training and continuous improvement.
10. Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to handle emergencies and critical situations.
