ABOUT THE ROLE
My client is looking for a Design Manager who has previously run a team of designers and has strong managerial experience.
1. Leadership: Provide vision and direction for the design team, inspiring creativity and innovation.
2. Project Oversight: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
3. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the design team and other departments or clients, communicating project progress, requirements, and feedback effectively.
4. Design Strategy: Develop and implement design strategies that align with the overall business goals and brand identity.
5. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently, balancing workload and skill sets to maximize productivity and performance.
6. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews and critiques of design work to maintain consistency, coherence, and excellence.
7. Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, and integrate them into the team’s workflow to drive continuous improvement.
8. Problem Solving: Identify and address challenges or obstacles in the design process, finding creative solutions to meet project objectives.
9. Performance Evaluation: Evaluate individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and opportunities for growth and development.
REQUIREMENTS
The projects my client carry out are completed with competence, precision and integrity and you must be able to represent and uphold these standards. You will be expected to have prior experience in Design and management so you can hit the ground running.
