Psychological Therapist: Systemic Family Therapist

The Teesside Early Intervention for Psychosis Service is looking to recruit a full time Systemic Family Therapist. The post will be based in one of the two South Tees EIP teams in Middlesbrough and Redcar, and the post holder will work across all four sites.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Early Intervention for Psychosis team in a therapy delivery role.
Main duties of the job
Applicants will be required to have either RMN or equivalent mental health core qualification and be registered with a professional regulatory body, and to have completed and passed an Association of Family Therapy (AFT) accredited Systemic Family Therapy Masters Course making them eligible for Accreditation as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist with AFT.
They will also have significant experience delivering psychological informed interventions to people experiencing severe mental health problems in a secondary care setting. Training and experience delivering behavioural family therapy for psychosis would be highly relevant experience.

Tees, Esk & Wear Valley NHS Trust EIP service has an established, and growing, network of systemic family therapists who have an integral role to the leadership and delivery of EIP across both care groups. The service has strong active practice development connections with provider and HEI colleagues regionally and nationally.
The successful candidate will join an established multi-disciplinary Early Intervention for Psychosis Service in the Tees Area. Their role in the team will be a focus on the family and carer centred approach and intervention.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* A qualification that leads to registration with a professional regulatory body (HCPC, GMC, NMC or Social Work England) AND current registration with this professional regulatory body.
* Completion of an Association of Family Therapy (AFT) accredited Systemic Family Therapy Masters Course making them eligible for Accreditation as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist with AFT.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
Experience
* Experience of delivering psychological informed interventions to people experiencing severe mental health problems in a secondary care setting.
Knowledge
* Strong demonstrable interest in Systemic Family Therapy.
