Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Event Coordinator to join our team in Colchester. As an integral part of our events department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of events, including planning, execution, and issue management.
You will work closely with clients and the team to discuss event ideas, design and present client proposals, and ensure seamless delivery of events.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse portfolio of events, from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
* Create engaging event concepts and proposals, showcasing your creativity and attention to detail.
* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics, manage budgets, and resolve any issues that may arise.
* Upsell Gray Dawes services to clients, identifying opportunities to enhance their experience and increase revenue.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Safeguarding guidelines.
Requirements
* Prior experience in event management, with a proven track record of delivering successful events.
* Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
* Able to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Proficient in budget management and reconciliation.
* Familiarity with health and safety protocols and regulations.
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be based in our Colchester office, with hybrid working arrangements available.
We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including annual leave, private healthcare, and pension scheme.
